Product Owner responsible for product vision, team management, change management, business process reengineering, communications, training, adoption and software development.

Noteworthy Accomplishments:

Manage a Federal IT product in an Agile project management environment leveraging iterative, Minimum Viable Product(MVP) best practices to ensure continuous delivery and product enhancement.

Successfully modernizing application and case management processes for SBA’s Government Contracting and Business Development(GCBD) division including the 8(a), Women Owned Small Business(WOSB), HUBZone and All Small Mentor Protégé(ASMPP) programs.

Direct a product team that includes developers, Amazon Web Services(AWS) devops engineers, UX designers, UX researchers, communications and training personnel, business analysts and scrum masters.

Provide product visioning and product roadmaps to ensure that both users and stakeholders share a common vision.

Establish and manage positive stakeholder relationships with sponsor teams including cabinet-secretary level appointees, political appointees and SES stakeholders. Leverage User-Centered Design best practices to drive and inform product decisions.

Translate stakeholder business requirements into actionable technology requirements and deliverables.

Prioritize features and functionality and facilitate work breakdown for four scrum teams including two development teams, one UX team and one business team that includes communications and training.

Effectively communicate product status updates to both Senior Digital Service leadership as well as numerous senior White House advisory staff.

Serve as a product subject matter expert for media briefings and interactions.
